Internship Programme Overview
The DDBA Digital Internship Programme was developed by the Academy to build certified digital marketing professionals who are readily equipped to perform excellently in a diverse range of industries. It is a great fit for both digital marketing newbies and digital enthusiasts with some experience.
The Internship is divided into two phases: the first phase consists of 6 weeks of in-depth practical training, assignments, assessments and examinations.
The second phase involves a specialised 12-week long working placement for you to hone your specialty while earning a tangible remuneration for your efforts.
You will learn a wide range of digital marketing topics, covering the fundamentals like social media marketing, content creation, etc. to the more technical aspects like adverts, search engine optimisation, website design and inbound marketing, to mention a few.
During every phase of the internship you are expected to achieve a number of certifications and these count to towards your total points with which you are assigned to more regular paying clients at the end of the Internship. These clients become your clients and DDBA continues to provide support to enable you scale your digital marketing business and grow your profits.

Digital Internship Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the duration of the Digital Internship?
The Internship is for 1 (one) year.
During the first 6 weeks you learn the fundamentals, and after that you are placed in different specialties every three months to ensure you have a rounded understanding of digital marketing and its various fields.
What is the cost to join the Internship Academy?
Application Fee is N1,000.
Learning Digital Marketing in the Internship Academy costs N50,000 for the whole year.
Quarterly and 6-month payments are available.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. DDBA will issue you a certificate at the end of your one year of internship and specialisation. During the Internship period you are also given the opportunity to upgrade your portfolio by taking other certifications related to your digital specialty. The goal is to make you a prime candidate in your field of specialisation.
Is There Any Discount?
Yes, there is a discount...during this COVID-19 pandemic we are offering a 50% discount on annual payments. Yes, you get to pay N25,000 when you pay for the whole year, instead of paying N50,000. Other payments attract a 10% discount.
Is the Internship Entirely Online?
Yes, you learn and participate in the Internship 100% online. This also means that your participation is 100% required, and performance is based on work delivered, not on attendance. You can join the Internship and still work a full-time job. We are that flexible, and that's the beauty of online study.
What should I expect after the Internship?
We will give you your own clients who pay you monthly for your services, and the team at DDBA will provide support for another one year after that. You also get first notice on trainings, client offers and project bids when you join our DDBA Associate Program.
